Which spark plug?
Okay, after reading thru previous thread in the 2.4L section about bosch plugs, Ive decided to change mind. Only problem is I don't know if I should get the platinum +4s or the fusions.
What do you guys recommend?

DO NOT EVER BUY Platinum plus anythings. they WILL **** every thing over on you car. missfires like crazy with those things. I only run NGK's i personally have had 6 sets of bosch plugs, and none of them worked properly.

our 2.2 come stock with iridium's(sp?) not plats. Make sure you get a plug that is atleast up to stock standards. I have no faith in champions, but have had good luck with NGK's, and Bosch.

coppers are great but wear out faster than platnum and iridium. but if you're gonna be willin to change out your plugs more often then copper is the way to go.

I went onto NGK's website and they gave me this part #: ILTR5C11. Autozone nor Advance auto doesnt carry this brand. At least locally. So I went to autopartswarehouse.com and showed me 2 ngk plugs for 06 2.2L balt. Neither part number matched the one I got from ngk web site.
NGK website: ILTR5C11
Autopartswarehouse: LTR5GP & LTR5IX-11
Any ideas?

Sounds like that was a NGK stock #, that they only use. I know for some of these newer bikes I've worked on, we get conversion charts for plugs(ex. NGK plug # xyz is the same as NGK plug # abc, same exact thing, but just different # systems).

if im not mistaken autopartswarehouse.com is a ****** joke.. dont buy from them. go to sparkplugs.com and look up what you want.. they'll have the plugs at your front door in less than a week..

OEM plug on the car is going to be an AC Delco iridium. I would either stick with that or the NGK. I know Denso work well in import tuners, but haven't heard anything about them on the cobalt.

plugs
I'm running Pulse Plugs...hellava lot better than the Arco's that I had in it...if you want more information, visit pulstarplugs.com - the plugs are a bit pricy($25/plug-i.e 4cyl motor=$100), but I'm gettin more power out of my car and better fuel economy (I know because I have a GTECH performance gauge and instant gas mileage read out) - plus the pulse plugs will be able to withstand a little more abuse.....I'm talkin heavier spark when your runnin at the redline...believe me when I say they work

I just got NGK Iridium IX from autopartswarehouse.com. To the guy that said they're a joke. I dont know what issue you may have had with them, but everything has been smooth with me. Ive been buying parts from them for about 3 yrs now. Never had an issue.
