Avoid Bosch Platinum +4's, they fried some member's coil packs. Unless you have serious mods that would require special plugs, stick with stock AC Delco plugs, they're perfectly adequate.

I have bosch +4's in my 07 LS manual coupe, well because I'm partial to german engineering, considering I am german haha. but they've worked excellent in my car since the 10,000mi mark and i'm at 23,000 w/o a problem. No regapping is required, just screw and play....however bad that sounds...............................I have coil on plug in my cobalt by the way.....NGK's are decent, make sure they're not too hot for the motor, AC Delco's are good....but your not going to get as good a spark out of them as NGK or Bosch's.

I've felt the difference between the stock plugs and the performance plugs in my Buell, and trust me, in the lower RPMS, the better plugs are much better.

bosch +4's wont work in 05-06 cobalts due to our ignition system, they will damage and destroy your coil packs.. 07s have a different ignition system as to why 07 cobalts dont have the problems with these cars.. i use ngk iridium ix's but they arnt cheap. i have the +2s as i was suppose to have nos, but it didnt work out but i am still using them, they work great,, but stay without the +2s unless your nitrous or boosting.. i will be running turbo before 09 so they are staying for now.. but they are about 10 bucks a piece.. aint cheap but are worth it

well butt dyno on a harley motor is a pretty good dyno....unfortunately theres so much vibration you can't get any calculated results but he's right, they will damage the 05-06's, not the 07's

But seriously, on a 2cyl motor I could feel the difference in the lower rpms, IMO, even the harley techs say it makes a better ignition cloud. I'd assume the same principal applies to a 4-cyl motor too

I have used Bosch Platinum +4s in other cars never had a problem at all... now the ingintion problem is true don't use them on an 05-06 model.

NGK Iridium should do ya just fine!
