He never said anything about wanting to run 25psi, I said that. Hes thinking 15-20, but I imagine more realistically would probably end up with 15-18 pounds at the most. And for that hes not going to need a race built engine, just some better internals than what he has now. Which was the point of this thread to begin with.

Kit? Reread the thread. There is no kit. This whole thread was about how impractical stroking an L61 would be.

increasing the bore size makes a lot more sense than increasing the stroke. especially since you've already got an undersquare bore/stroke ratio. A longer stroke means the piston is moving faster at any given rpm, which is great for low rpm torque, but would make your motor less efficient at high rpms, shifting your entire powerband downward. All things being the same, you wouldn't gain any power, you'd just gain bottom end torque and make the same power at a lower rpm. Not to mention, higher piston speed= shorter engine life.
