GM actually makes a supercharger kit for the 2.2 Ecotec, however be warned that you'll need some kind of piggyback tuning as our ECMs don't have a proper tuning solution available, at least for that. But if you feel you can handle tuning with a piggyback system, I say get that kit.

Won't work, cobalts have a drive by wire throttle body and the cavi's that kit is made for, has a regular old TB cable.
Theres no just bolt on and go kit for the cobalt, theres a turbo kit thats close but not done/proven yet.
Heres what happens when you just BOLT on an SS/SC supercharger and not have engine management and tuning.

you have no tuning available right now.. so i dont think you can s/c it..
but lets forget about that for now, your options are: use 2.0 ss s/c parts, and have the eaton m62.
or alpine turbo.(piggyback tuning available)

You have to really know what you're doing to properly piggy-back a supercharger to your Cobalt. It will be very involved and very expensive. You will need to read up on superchargers and our ECOTEC engine before you go ahead and buy a supercharger and all the necessary components to install it.
How much power are you aiming to run?
