Sway Bars?
I auto-cross and I'm decent at it but my car is holding me back now. The only mod i have right now is an Eibach pro-kit which i got a good deal on. As I was talking to the pro's they said instead of concentrating on power, I should concentrate on suspension first. They suggest sway bars, but I cant find them for my '08 LT. Anybody know any websites that would have them? Or anybody have any suggestions on other mods? Im not looking for big mods like a turbo or supercharger because I plan to sell my car in a year or 2. And I also have a 5 year warranty that I don't want to void.

Seeing as you have the eibach pro springs, and the eibach sway bar kit was designed to go hand-in-hand with them, that's what I'd recommend. You would need new endlinks as well though:

EDIT: Front sway bar options are either the 24mm FE5 with other endlinks, either FE5 or aftermarket

for front sway, you need to drop the whole subframe. but a strut bar would help.
the only front sway i know of is a) the cobalt ss has a big ass one, or b) eibach has one that comes in a kit with the rear, and i think suspension techniques r something like that has a kit for front and back.
THEY MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE.

A front anti-sway that works on any Cobalt will work on your Cobalt, they are all essentially the same, you just have to change bar mounts on some cars without FE5.
Be careful putting a rear sway bar on, it may put you in a class in which you are way outy of your league.

eibach has never even made their sway bar kit, ask TTR, they offer it, but have never even produced one, get the TTR rear sway bar, get the MRZ front strut bar, those r the best available...and will help your handling, the frotn sway bar is 19mm on the 2.2, and 22mm on the Fe5 suspension

If you want a set, you should look at the suspension techniques bars, believe that they have adjustable end links. Not sure what effect the adjsutments could have though.

It will be at least spring time (2009) before they are shipping

Eibach has not made these bars yet, just keep claiming that they are coming. This has been the same story for atleast the past 2 years.

Well that's some bullshit there.
Tomatoes are a fruit, they don't grow on trees. I have lots of peppers in my garden, and none of them are trees.

most fruit grows on vines.......
fruit are fruit because its the flesh, seeds and seed bearing portion of the plant that you eat. Vegetables you dont eat eat the seed bearing porion and in many cases you actually only eat one reandom structure of the plant. Vegeable is a culinary term, not a biological one, so you can call anything you like a vegetable, but that doesnt change the fac that if its got seeds in the portion you eat that its a fruit
Tomatoes get called vegetables because the Supreme court ruled it that way in 1883(Nix v. Hedden) which was a case involving, come on you can gues....you got it, taxes. The tomato while technically a fruit was being taxed as a vegetable(imported fruit received no tax) and this led to the Supremem court case.
The tomato is the official VEGETABLE of NJ. the state use the Nix ruling to justify the claim.

I was reading on the autox forums, they say just rear sway bar, strut bar, springs (which i already have) and tires. My all seasons are terrible for autoxing which is obvious. But i started out autoxing just for the hell of it but now its an addiction. So I want to mod my car, but not so much to the point where im in classes with STI's, EVO's and Mini Coops. So all this has helped alot besides the fruit talk. The plan is to buy the MRZ strut bar and TTR rear sway bar asap. Since the autox season is almost over I'll stick with my al seasons until next season and ill buy summer tires. I'l probably do some minor engine mods like CAI, lightweight pullys, exhaust etc.

Hmmm...FE5 frt sway bar is 5mm larger? I just added another mod to my future list.
So to switch out the frt sway bar, all I need are these?
