generally, you'll have three wires, plus a light wire.
there is one for signal, one for power, one ground.
the lighting wire is obvious.
the trick is finding the signal on this car, i'm gussing that you'd have to find the signal wire for either the fuel injector, or for the COP.

yeah, no one is happy, lol.
2.2 guys bitch that it comes on twice, SC guys bitch that there isn't one, and i cannot figure out that when i first got the car, it did the whole "light up and the shift point for best mileage" thing, but it doesn't now... at least, i think that it did.

sigh...i guess i will help...you will need a tach adapter from autometer. this goes on the coils to read the rpm's from one of the cylinders. the rest of the installation is just tapping power, hooking up the illumination, and finding ground. this thread should get you started https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...highlight=tach
