Temp. Removing SAI???

Wanted a 2nd opinin from someone that has either done this, or knows more about the sai on our cars. I can not remember seeing this covered and have kept my eye on most of these threads. I am trading in my 2.2 for a 2.0, and want to take my ca down pipe off. For anyone with the sai, you know it's an absolute bitch to get your hand in there with the lines running directly in the middle of the available space.

So, if i were to take off the 3 or 4 bolts that hold it onto the engine, is there any problems i will run into, or is there anything I should know about prior to doing this?
