I had my header disconnect from the flex pipe once while I was at the track, and then had to drive the next week with an open header. It was incredibly loud, louder than any trucks Ive ever heard. That should give you an idea as to the sound.
As far as the product, I cant tell you anything.

I intend on installing it directly after the resonator, so it doesnt sound like a fart cannon and its not all ricey. I just wonna be able to go from loud to quite when i want to.

^ it's still gonna be loud and it's still gonna sound like crap. You have a 4 cylinder. A resonator won't quite it down enough to sound bad ass.
