For those of you w/o prefabbed exhaust

Hey for those of you who went to an exhaust shop to get exhaust rather than buying the system premade how much did it run you?

Also does it sound as good as the bolt on kits?

I appreciate the info

It can't sound that much different if they use the exact same size theoretically...

And around here it'd cost like 100$ for the whole piping.

I am using a 2.5" resonator and Dual 2.5" fart cans. Piping and welding was around $200-230.

I went catback with a magnaflow muffler and reused the stock tip and it was $170.00 after tax.

Appreciate it guys. I had a guy at one of the shops quote me 160 bucks to cut the muffler off and replace it with a resonator and tip...I for sure knew he was bullshitting me.

Second guy quoted me 220 for 2.25" from the cat back with a magnaflow muffler and tip. I think that i will talk him down to 200 even and go for it.

Hey one last question, EBay mufflers...how bad are they?

eBay mufflers are CHEAP do not buy them, I made the mistake of buying one and it rusted in a couple months then I had to replace it. Spend the extra couple bucks and buy a good SS muffler.

Get the Magnaflow catback exhaust. Completely S/S so u dont have to worry about it rusting and and it sounds great and the performance that u get out of it is addicting. Check out my thread for sound clips...or check out the magnaflow site for clips.

They are having a deal $499.00 shipped! Great deal, and fast shipping.
