**** ill look itnto it. on another hand:

more parts came. got my water pump and injector insulators at work today. rod bearings came.. although only one set for one rod... so i have to re order them. hopefully getting my pistons and rods on monday.

make sure the surfaces of the bearings aren't scratched or anything. i bought a pair and had to switch them out like 3 times before i had a clean set.

come monday ill be ordering wiesco 10:1 pistons, eagle rods, rings, cap bolts, and clevite rod bearings. then all that is left is head stuff. talked to a machine shop and for $100 ill get the head pressure tested, hot tanked, valves/springs installed, and shaved if its warped. all done within 2-3 days. this build should be cake.

alot going on lately. turbo manifold got lost in the mail and kid backed out on my curent kit. so i will be rebuilding then bigger turbo in the near future unless someone buys my kit.

a little update: I'll be running 22psi on the k04 once i get the engine built. no one wants my current kit right now so ill collect parts over winter for the bigger turbo. plus i need to learn how to handle another 100 whp first. i should have everything for the build withing 3 weeks then ill plan a date. build shouldn't take long. tear down will be done in a n night then my head gets sent to get everything put in and checked. while thats being down ill install the pistons and misc. oem parts. once the head comes back (2-3 days) ill put it all back together and get a tune from james. getting excited especially now that its getting colder my car pulls like a **** in the mornings. i love it lol. now to get reliability done.

zzp is 82# and with titanium retainers still cheaper. i dont know about them much tho
