welp started today. got alot more done than i wanted lol.. i was in the zone. got my bumpers off, charge pipes off, intake, intake manifold, and got the turbo elbow. but since the elbow is welded to my down pipe i have to raise the car a bit to twist and find the right combination. that its way to low to pull the pan and stuff. this snap on cordless gun makes things go 100x faster..

got lots accomplished today. started by fighting the turbo out. i cant let the elbow down due to it being welded and cutting tools are at work so i worked around it. dropped the turbo then removed the head.. and oil pan. everything is out minus the pistons, front cover, cams, and crank pulley. gonna get up early mark where the head needs to be dremeled for a gasket match P&P and a friend is going to work on that as i pull the pistons and get the front cover off. i must say i am pleased so far. its easy just time consuming as im taking my time making sure its correct. my cylinder walls still have manufacture cross hatches on them to..

got some done today.. i had work so not a whole lot. got the front cover off and timing chain off. pistons are out. the rod bearings look amazing for the mileage and abuse they have seen. dropped the head off at the machine shop.. started to port one cylinder and my dremel fried so thats up in the air yet. i can see why these only withstand 250hp...

Looking good! And yeah those stock rods are the junkiest things I've ever seen. I couldn't believe they held up to anything more than stock. But the motors hold up really well. My bearings and cylinders still looked brand new as well with almost 90k miles on them
