Yes, I have the white faced gauges too. That's what they look like at night. (weird uh!)
I think the white gauges look alot nicer than the black one too.

how the hell could the car no if you have 112 rated tire or 145 or + there must be a other way to stop it form couthing out

It's programmed into the PCM. If you get different tires with a higher speed rating you might be able to find a performance shop that can adjust it accordingly.

The SS/SC have tires rated to 168 but we can't come anywhere near that....stupid drag.

My cobalt made 165mph top speed. And it felt SMOOTH! But Dangerous.

Why... would you just want to constanly want to top out your stock 2.2. The tires aint great stock and your stock suspension aint either. Atleast do some suspensions mods and get some wider tires and maybe more engine work and see what your "top speed" is

I've hit 110mph mutiple times in my Base model. If i had some suspension and brake mods plus different wheels and tires i would have the limiter removed and bet it would hit 125mph no problem, but with the tires and stock suspension and brakes, no way i would go over 110mph

my topout is when the tranny tops at at 162mph....cant reach that with air resistence...buuuuuut....on the dyno i did

Ive had mine to 128 on the road...i have 130mph rated tires and ss/sc springs though...so ya...i had my gfs ls on stock everythign to 105..pretty steddy...but no more then that!!!
yea i had my ls 105 with stock. i got z rated tires with ksport coilovers and i got the trifecta tune, will have to retune once i finish the build
