Fastested ive been is 110, and I had under a 1/2mile to do it in so it was cutting it close. Where do you guys test your speed? the highway? or old back roads? I need a radar detector. a 70mph voer ticket would not be good.

I'm sure if I pushed enough I could get it to maybe 135 mph but I won't do that unless I got some serious brake upgrades done.
I also have Eibach Prokit, FE5 Struts, W rated Tires

Damn I only got mine to about 124 mph, that was enough of a rush for me but it was still going along pretty good.

according to the math...wind resistance will negate us at about 138...sooo...and same as you...i need break upgrades first!!! did you just swap the struts from an ss?? and did it drop it any lower for you?

Yeah I bought 2 X FE5 Struts + 2 X FE5 rear shocks from Crate engine Depot. Not very expensive and worth every dollar, you can really tell the difference. As far as how low I only got 0.5" Rear Drop because the Stock SS/SC Springs + SS/SC Shocks combined will already lower a base model 1.6" Front and 1.3" Rear.

i gotta '07 cobalt sedan with automatic, only thing thats not stock on it is my tires. my spedo only goes up to 120, but i've gotten my car up to 116, 117. after 115 the fuel cut off kicks in and starts to slow the car down but i still made it a li bit past 115.

you guys say you been up around 120... how did you guys get around the Governer? my cobalt stops climbing @ about 103.5 mph (somethin around there) and yes I upgraded my wheels and tires to handle it (falkens) and will soon be upgrading my suspension... (i'm going for handling not power for the time being) but i'm still curious as to the differences (or lack depending) that my current and future mods may have done.

way to bring back a dead thread
your options that you bought your car with, determined how your car was tuned.... there are two tunes or the LS and LT. Some LS that came with alloys, and some other little things had a higher limiter
