Trifecta Tuning?

I'm new had a 740il used to walk all over Cobalt's and thought they were a joke. I just want to get to where my 740il was. I know it's a completely different car. Anyway I've been looking up some stuff on Trifecta Tuning and I can't find any really solid information.

What does it add to a 2006 Cobalt LS 2.2 L Coupe.
How much does it cost?

Thanks

NA your not going to get any impressive results, boosting you should have no trouble spanking anything that heavy

I did some quick research, and the only model that wasn't a dog was the 93 model, which did a best of 15.3, highly attainable with a cobalt with bolt ons and a tune. The newer models actually went slower, around 15.9 in the 1/4.

So, there ya go. I don't see how you were spanking cobalts unless it was a 93 like I said.

No model I'm finding goes over 300 stock? Is it a newer model?

No I just want to get around 14 sec 1/4 mile if possible. or somewhat close to that. I know I won't have 300+ hp unless I put my life savings into it.

+ Dinan Chip. It had a timer in I clocked a 5.9 0-60..1/4 mile was harder to clock but I got around 14.1 in that.

Nitrous will get you there pretty cheap.

No need for forced induction, just bolt ons, tune, and a n20 setup, 75 shot for low 14's high 13's.

How much does the tuning add on. The AEM intake adds nothing as of now maybe 3-4 HP right?

The tune optimizes the car for nitrous at wot, and with bolts ons and a 75 shot it should be a considerable increase.

Intake will add maybe 5 hp, exhaust is definitely the next step for you, you need a pretty open exhaust for that nitrous kit.

I'd rather not put Nitrous don't want my car to blow up. I space out at times and would engage it at like 2000 rpm haha. What's the best exhaust for a reasonable price is the NS1 decent?

I would personally recommend this site.

http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com...alt/Categories

Nowhere else can you get a 2.5" stainless steel exhaust for 330. Aluminized steel for 255.

Well, there's the 2.4L intake manifold swap that's not too expensive if you piece it together.

That nets the most gain out of all bolt ons. After that, you can get tuned, but I would get n20 first.

With just bolt ons, you're not going to see 14's. It's going to take some nitrous at least.

Not going to lie, that looks pretty bad.

You can try it, but it looks like the runners are not equal length and the welds don't look good at all.

That's not bad $250 13 HP gain? Just one last question what is eco-tech designation. Is my 2006 cobalt ls 2.2 definitely eco-tech?

Unless you've got a 3" exhaust, or a 3" downpipe, you don't need the 3 bolt.

2 bolt for regular catback.

Manifold
Intake
Exhaust
Trifecta Tuning
Those things seem within my budget. It'll be a year or so until I add anything else on. How much willt hose things help me? What 1/4 mile am I looking at. Will I "feel" the difference?

Are you a 5 speed or auto?

With those mods you'll be looking at mid 15's with auto, low 15's with standard. Low 14's/high 13's with a 75 shot. (which is totally safe if installed correctly)
