2007 Cobalt LS Coupe
- Automatic Transmission
- Injen Short Ram Intake
- 2.25 in. MagnaFlow Exhaust
- ZZP Mid Length Header
- 2.5 in. ZZP Stainless Downpipe
- 2.4l Intake Manifold
- Ported and Polished 2.2l Throttle Body
- Tenzo-R Lowering Springs
- Bridgestone POTENZA Tires

The Balt can move. I would used a 2.4l tb but haven't come across one with 6 pins. My ported and polished 2.2l tb will do just fine. I felt a nice gain after installation.

What are some of you guys predictions/recommendations on how my car with its current mods will respond with an aggressive Trifecta tune? Thanks!
you will notice a decent bit more power, i would recomend if u have the money get the stock ss injectors and the 2.4 TB and that will open it up for more power

Well the tune is done now and installed..
What a noticible difference with the tune a 2.4 tb
my shift point is at 7300 rpm and its fine..alot more low end torque now and all the way through the power band, before it was sluggish from 0 rpm to 4000 rpm...also the top speed limiter is gone had the car doing 140 plus the other night...

Thanks for the help guys

mod lock it up

correct, it wont GIVE you anythign, but it will let you keep upgradign without having to worry.

i have sc injectors on my 2.2 cammed balt...he said that i was towards the top end of the abilities of the stock injectors, so it wasnt a bad idea to switch

7500rpm's is the limit for our stock l61 valvetrain.

upgrade your valvetrain and vince would be happy to raise the redline past 7500.

On mine I think he set the redline to 7300. i shift @ about 7000.

If your 07+ running the E37 ECM, my car was the first E37 to be tuned from Trifecta. Still running like a champ to this day. Get it.

lol, on a side note. rode in my moms 2.2 auto sedan on Sunday.....wow, feels gutless compared to mine now. lol

Do you think tuning on 93 octane is worth it? I am considering it but haven't decided.

as for that fact you were honking the horn and started to go before the last honk...as for the passenger and the system that would make a little difference i notice the car drives alot better when nothing is in the car.
Beside that wasn't a race...a race is a dead stop **** that rolling race **** thats for *****'s who cant race....
I like a race to be about the driver and the car not the other way around....
I would rape you on a dead stop run and you know it.....

I am untuned and will SSmoke the both of you from a dig and a roll. LOL!!

Just kidding, fellas. It's all about the driver. The car is a factor but when it comes down to it, it's a matter of which driver is more experienced. I beat a Stage 2 SS/SC from a dig but the guy wasn't a great driver.

stop with driver mod. i toast everyone here.

when you compare two engine, just a roll to x mph can confirm which one is better
if you want test driver go to track and not at a light.

here a real comparaison:

inside cam: shifting were very well done. no sound from the tires
