well bad news
Called UMIRacing who told me that their stuff is a standalone PCM and so is only applicable to "full race" applications. "street stuff" still needs the stock ECU to control pretty much everything else. So he pretty much told me that they can't do the UMI chip on a street car because you'll lose pretty much all functionality of the car 'cept for the engine tuning.
i'm not posting this on HPTs forums cuz i don't want them to start getting cocky.

yea you can drop a gtp v6 in a cobalt if you have a welder and a little imagination. anything can be done. its a mater of how much and how too. all you have to do is think out side the box. thats my dollars worth.

Yea, we already discussed the L67 swap into a cobalt. It was done in a cavy a few times. It'd be pretty sick. Definetly rip the **** out of a LOT of cars, especially the unsuspecting ones.
Cobalt Kid you can't switch your pcm with an SS's, its been discussed MANY times before
P.s. for those that don't know engine codes, L67=GTP Supercharged motor
