Tuning

Anyone know how much is costs to get the speed limiter took off our cars?
Can you tune up the rev limiter up to like 6 or 6.5 so that it does not stop at only 4

you have an auto right? i think hes talking about revving in park, not when the cars in gear. autos have a low rev limit for park.

Sounds like someone is trying to neutral drop it . No need to be able to rev past 4k when you're not moving. Really doesn't get any point across and makes you look like an ass.

Just because the car is capable of it doesn't mean the tires are. What's the speed rating of your non-OEM tires?

You must have a automatic

You mean you can't rev pass 4k sitting STILL, not actually driving.

That's there for a reason.

Speed rating is important when it comes to dropping a speed limiter. THat's pretty much why they exist in the first place.

Depends on how often you want to be buying a new tranny. Seriously. Neutral rev limiters are there FOR A REASON. Revving and then putting it back in gear is bad, mkay? If you really MUST rev at someone throw it in N, give it a quick rev, let it rev back down and put it back into gear.
