Turbo charge 08 ls cobalt

Hey I have a 40 trim turbo that my friend gave me and I really wanted to drop it in my car does anyone have tips for me ? or can help me with putting it in and all the parts I need . I know I need a intercooler and piping etc . I just had a few questions .

you'll need a lot, turbo manifold, intercooler, blow off valve, new intake, tune, oil feed lines, probably a hell of a lot more

i was gona get all this to start off.
and I know oil lines are cheep . I need to find a manifold tho

well i will tell you this. you are starting off on the wrong foot.

my suggestion is go check out the for sale section there are lnf guys selling nearly full kits.

Well I already bought the turbo I just wana see what I can do with it now. Its all I have to work with now and I know alot of tuner people out here do you think you can help me make this work

what flange is the turbo? t3 or t25?

you know a lot of tuner people? wtf does that mean, btw that one link was for a gasket not a manifold. And you have a long list of parts to get to turbo a cobalt, are you auto or manual?

your going to have to change the clutch too, your transmission can't handle the power

well it depends on how much boost he wants to run. stock it will hold if hes not tryin to play mario andretti all day everyday

it won't hold for long, everytime he drops the clutch and makes over 170tq his clutch is gonna suffer but either way you are going to need A LOT of parts find a kit and see what is included in the kit then you know what to get

So I mean the real question is I got the turbo what should I do I mean I already have it should I get the parts and put it on ? bc I dont have a problem finding the parts and maybe you guys could help me get the parts for it .

Yeah I do i have a short ram intake and exhaust . I just tought I would ask other people with cobalts bc they are all honda people and I would rather talk to you guys bc we have the same car

you can tune it, get a new header and downpipe, 2.4 intake manifold, 2.4 throttle body. what kind of budget are you working with?

Um for right now I dont want to throw a hole lot of money into my car just yet its pretty new but check it out on fb and add me . bc im gona go for 10-15 and you have alot of good advice
