Turbo Tech Racing Releases Transmission Bushing Kits!
We have completed fitment on our transmission bushings for the 2005-07 Cobalt.
We have 2 styles, both the Manual and Automatic transmission bushings. They are both avaliable is Red, Blue and Black. They also come with color, easy to follow, instructions, for a quick and simple install.

You will know you are getting genuine polyurethane bushings, as all of our “Turbo Tech Racing” branded bushings is engraved into our molds with “Turbo Tech Racing.” This is known to many of you who have the Cobalt upper mount, which also has “Turbo Tech Racing” right in the bushing, if you have not noticed take a look

question? how stiff are these in relation to stock?
the reason i ask is that i'd like a set that are firmer than stock, but not that will rattle my teeth out of my head.

Sweet, CPP has them but almost double in price but I know they are very durable urathane. I want to see atleast one review and I'm in, or I can be a donar car...?

I was one of the testers for TTR on this product. My stock bushings had become worn out from having the B&M Shift+ Kit installed and was having problems with the trans shifting correctly and moving around while stopping. I can not say enough about how great they are and how much nicer the ride is compared to the stock bushings. They are pretty stiff compared to the stock so you will hear and feel some vibration inside the car now. However it is only while the car is around the idle RPM of 1k or so otherwise you don't hear it. If you guys have any question or want to see some pics just let me know.

I might be interested within the coming month, broke now, a lot of parts on order. But would be cool if you could get a GB going with free shipping, then I would for sure buy quick.

TTR has treated me well so far, so if there was a GB in the future... like... ohhh... for november... i'd buy a set without question...
although, if not, i'd prolly end up buying them anyways.

they are well worth the price. the ride is very solid you can really tell when going over the railroad tracks or hitting large bumps. I will try and post a pdf of the installation instructions i made to show how easy the install is.

I love the way the car feels with tranny mounts...I like that firm feeling, hell I might spring for the motor mount as well.
Only the driver really can feel any vibes from inserts, but it puts you in touch with your car.

Yea if I can ever same some extra money I will be getting the motor mount as well. I also noticed that the vibes quiet down a little once the car gets warmed up.

install is easy. the only hard part is getting the stock bushing out and getting the new one in. i trimmed down the lip a little (it sticks out the side of the mount anyways so it's not hurting anything) and it popped right in.
i'm helping someone do them this sunday, i can help you when you get them if you want. or i think you had some friends that know about htat kinda stuff too, but it's not that hard.

I had to trim one side off on both of mine to get them in there...
To get them out, you just need a big screwdriver, a rubber mallet and alot of your time to rip the stocker apart before it comes out.
