Try 325 gearbox TQ, it's an auto 4T45. If I have to worry about the tranny, then someone needs to stop me.
Remember, this is the same tranny that is put into larger V6 platforms such as the malibu.
Hey, this is cool. Apparently the new HHR SS comes in a auto 4T45 form as well. That's a whopping 260 HP/TQ in stock form!
If they can handle 260 HP/TQ reliably, then there's no question that they can hold 300+. And with a ~$500 rebuild kit, you're looking at a tranny capable of 400+. For now though, just a tune and a tranny cooler to make it giggle.

I bet you will make somewhere in the 220-230 range on 7psi. delta2.2 makes about 212whp on 5psi in his set up. but PSI is really not what everyone makes it out to be. the key is how much CFMs your turbo moves. find out that rating. mine moved 786 CFMs

Btw, is that my imagination or did I hear turbo flutter?

I believe he got that crank from a cavalier forum, as far as I know they don't make them anymore.
Since when does trifecta only tune for 10 psi or boost and lower? I've seen some of his customers do 12+.
As far as your turbo, t4 is huge. What kind of turbo is it? That thing probably wasn't intended for such a small engine as ours.
Did you get your cams yet? I can't remember when they shipped out, seems like maybe Wednesday or Thursday.
Can't wait to see that monster up and running.

If you do plan on running that thing, make sure you go forged, or it will be the shortest 1/4 in your life.

ya the cams that i have are the turbo grind ones made by Comp Cams. what would have to be done is take the cam sensor off the oem cam and press it to fit on the new cam. bridifi had sent his to bates engineering to do this and then sold it to mr.silent13.
o and the crank is the Eagle crank with timing ring

In all honesty though, I'd rather keep my insurance low and have a balt quicker than a stg 2 for less.
As far as buying a different car, which I'm assuming that's where you were taking this, I bought this car for 15k new, and there's no way I'm going to trade in and take 5k or less. It would make no sense to sell this car unless I had to.

there is also a shop back in michigan that rebuilds automatics for race prep. I.E. billet trany. they said the automatics they rebuild will handle 1,000 ft/lbs at the gear box no problem. ($1,800 and includes pulling and replacing your trany)
And i know of another shop that will make you a custom trq converter and stall converter if you want to get serious about it..
ive been doing a lot of home work and not many people know that i was looking into all of this stuff.
