TVS 2.9 belt slip

I have the ZZP 5 rib belt routing which utilizes stock L61 belt driven components. It's not quite cutting it in the higher RPMs. What's the best way to upgrade? Buy LSJ components and switch to LSJ 6 rib?

Not sure. It is the belt that came with zzp supercharger kit and just adds an idler pulley and spaces out the alternator. I think thewafflesareburnt has the same belt routing in his recent post

Stock LSJ Air Intake
Stock LSJ Tensioner
Stock LSJ Idler Pulley
Stock LSJ Alternator Bracket

Copied this from another thread. Is this everything I need to complete the swap?

I ran down to a 2.75" pulley on my GMS2 belt.

Never had an issue.

All you need to do is get a GMS2 belt an carefully cut a rib off that is what i did on my old 2.2 with a 2.7 pulley
and it never slipped wouldn't hurt to get the oversized tensioner pulley also.

My belt slip is happening above 7,000 rpm. I have a 5 rib setup installed right now. Where do you get oversized tensioner pulley?

Those of you running an LSJ GMS2 belt with 1 removed rib what all components did you have to swap out? Just the tensioner assembly from LSJ?

What about the idler pulley from LSJ? Anyone know the part number on this?

personally, I chose so do a full 6 rib conversion. A big more cost and effort, but well worth it

Does the LSJ crank/harmonic balancer work on our motors?

completely forgot to mention that if you do a full lsj swap, you will need to trim/grind off the bosses for the engine lift point on the front passenger side of the head. They need to be clearanced because the tensioner assembly hits.

I know this to be 100% fact on 07-08, but not sure on 05-06.

I remember seeing that when I was first researching SC builds. Thanks for the heads up.
