The only upgrade kit I have seen for the 2.2L from GM is the 2.4L intake manifold and TB.

dude the bigger the pulley, the less the thing the pulley is attached to spins. underdriving the accessory. like an underdrive alternator pulley. its bigger so that the alternator spins less and doesnt rob as much hp

YAY!
a dur dur. read all of my posts. if the pulley is on the accessory it has to be bigger in order to underdrive the accessory. if the pulley is in the crank, it needs to be smaller to make everything underdrive.

if the crank pulley is smaller, it doesnt provide the belt with as much speed.

if it was bigger it would overdrive everything attached to the system.

and thanks for the complement
so dont yay too soon

Think
smaller pulley makes the other pulleys slower. period.

right, if they are swapping injectors then they are not tuning for it.

My guess is that it was a misprint or a mis-read.

Interested to see if this is true, does it specify what year 2.2l or just say all 2.2l cobalts. Hell the old Gm sport compact book listed the 2.2l supercharger kit for the cavaliers as being for the cobalt.

coincidence that this kit comes with a pulley, injectors and a smaller belt?

even if for some reason it were for a 2.2 it'd be absolutely worthless
