I'm at school in western PA right now. But I might as well do valves and valve springs while its all apart right? And what is the main seal? Is that the one for the valve cover?

Well I planning on sticking with the stock fuel pump and the 42's I have in now. Do you think I'd need to upgrade any of that?

Well you can check out all the parts from CED and they come with the numbers. I just wanna be sure I have a complete list of what parts to replace while the motor is torn apart. Like what all gaskets and seals. I just don't wanna miss anything.

Jared I started pricing out all the parts to do a motor build.
I am over 2 grand and still adding parts up and that does not include any machine work or shipping costs.
If u are serious about doing this dont have a shop do the work, pay someone local to do the install and just have a machine shop do the work we are not able to.
You are going to need the block honed and crank knife edged. Also the head ported and polished if u want to do head work.
I cannot remember what yr you are but if ur an 05-06 I highly recommend getting sleves and having them pressed in.
If you are an 07+ you wont really need sleves for the power your looking for.
