Yeah I'm on stock fuel pump, it's the same exact one as the LSJ part numbers are only off by one if you look at them, it's slightly different how it's mounted is all.

no i have the werks racing one that is supposed to support 700 hp with e85. so I don't see why it won't keep up with only 17 psi and 92 octane??? i put some fuel injector cleaner and it helped so i'm really hoping the fuel filter fixes it. I'm at 61000 miles and never changed it lol. Maybe I should have vince turn up the fuel pressure to since i have the zzp brfps set up on option 2.

Hopefully that takes care or it for you, that pump def can get you enough fuel. It might just be in the tuning. It took Dave a few times to get it where its at now, and he wasn't doing it from across country. Im going to be back on the dyno next week, so we'll see where I stand after more tuning and switch to recirculated BOV. Hopefully I get a few more hp with all good coilpacks and refined tuning.

yeah i wish I trusted myself to tune it i would buy hptuners now that it supports the 07 and up. I just wanna get it figured out so I can run e85 and get on the dyno! Can the fuel pressure be turned up with the tune? idk how that works lol. I took the ball and spring out of the fuel pump assembly so it's just the zzp brfps thing

I made them an offer for 700. I'm hoping they'll take it. My question for you guys is what else do I need? I'm going to get a cometic head gasket and arp headstuds for sure. What about the acl full engine bearing set it recommends to get? or am I better off getting the clevite main bearings and rod bearings?
was the wiseco parts from ebay ok ? i have a 08 hhr the you build your L61 or a gen II block?

so far they're working great. my l61 has the gen II block. The lowest they will go on the price for me was 750.

I may have figured out the problem and i really don't want it to be lol. When I couldn't get the fuel pump to fit in the canister I ended up getting a little angry and cut the bottom of the canister so I could put the screen that came with the pump on there and have it sticking out. I'm thinking that when the tank is lower the fuel goes past the screen and doesn't get sucked up by the pump cuz it's not in the bottom of the canister.

Oh so you think the the pump might not be picking up enough fuel when your say less than an 1/8th TANK?

anything less than half a tank and i usually misfire
I'm gonna put the pump in the other canister i have and drill holes in the top and zip tie it shut so it at least the bottom of the canister is in one piece. the werks pump is like an eighth of an inch longer than the stock one and it wouldn't fit for me but i'm gonna give werks a call and see what they say about fitting it cuz i was under the impression it's a direct replacement.

Still waiting on getting my car back.... He texted me yesterday saying he still couldn't find any problems with it. At this point I just don't think he knows what to look for or what's wrong with it. I'm about ready to ask for my money back and take it somewhere else and get it fixed.

Good deal, im in the same boat. I need to get that lsd in and my 18s and star specs on, torque steer at 90+ can be a little scary lol. In third ill spin like mad from 50-60 roll then get traction, then start losing it again around 5900-6100 when hp really ramps up.

Soo my nitto invo's aren't doing much for traction lol. I'm looking for a set of 17X8.5s but idk much about what offset to go with. I'm not trying to be hella flush, I just want to be able to run 255/40zr17 nt-05s. any suggestions? I know with the 4X100 bolt pattern it shouldn't be hard to find something lol
ALSO, I should be getting my E85 tune today!!! hopefully I can go to the dyno on Saturday and see what i'm at!
