I ran my maf in the stock location for our stock intake and i can run a VTA BOV with no issues. You guys have issues because of your maf location.

I wasnt talking to you tundra........

Brags, you had to run recirc because your maf is in the intake pipe and blowing off metered air. I run my bov pre maf, my maf is in my charge pipe literally in the same location as most CAI's since we used my exisiting CAI for a portion of the charge pipe. So i dont blow off metered air, therefore i have no idle issues, no bogging during shifts, ect.
Just giving input on what my setup is and why its worked for me.

Thats good to know for future, you are exactly right on your reasoning. But I have no regrets going recirculated. No loss of power, no bogging, no idle issues now. Just toasted beqring lol

I don't have much charge piping to work with lol I have the water to air intercooler so my pipe goes from the top of the turbo to my throttle body and that's it.

I got my alternator tested and with the headlights off it checked out good but as soon as i turned the headlights on the car died. I'm not sure if it was a coincidence or not but i'm gonna try a junk yard alternator and see what happens. I don't work tomorrow so hopefully the junk yard has one.

well I ended up getting a brand new alternator and a new belt while I had it off and it's still stalling on me. I'm ready to just bring it to a shop and find out what's wrong with it but I don't wanna spend the money on a shop.. ugh

So we tuned again for about 2 hours today... My car still seems to be fucked up though... 2nd gear still acts like a little jew and misfires top end. 1st and 3rd will go all the way through the gears perfectly fine though.
I'm also throwing a p0121 really bad. and So is the guy that's tuning me. Neither of us can figure out why.

Has anyone dealt with phantom knock on here before? My car shows a lot of phantom knock top end in 2nd gear when it misfires to ****.
