LE5. I also wanted a precision ball bearing turbo, I run the PTE 5557 BB with .48ar housing. Everything on my setup is vband, and you can find their turbo mani and intercooler on their website. They did the motor (wiseco, carillo, supertech) as well as clutch and lsd insert install. Overall great company to work with but not cheap lol.
Awesome. I was just curious if it would be cheaper to get the parts from them over ZZP. Because from what I've read you can use the manifolds from a LNF, then I wouldn't see why you couldn't use the LNF charge pipes, intercooler, and air intake. Then just have an exhaust fabbed up. I know it's most likely not going to be that simple but it sounds like a plan.

You can use exhaust/turbo mani from lnf but not intake mani. Lnf are direct injection. Also my routing was different because of me going recirculated bov. Also my intake mani, is port and polished and gasket matched to my TB and ported head.

Hey guys I have a question I wanna change the set up of my charge pipes, I kind wanna do the set up like the LNF's. Will I need anything special to make it fit since I'm auto. I'm thinking of getting a LNF K&N intake and ZZP hot side pipe with a tial bov. Will I need anything else? Glowbalt since your auto can u show me how u did your pipes?

You can use the LNF intake manifold.LSJ guys use it all the time.DI has nothing to do with anything. The LNF injectors go into the cylinder under the intake manifold, ours go in through the top of the head,so both intake manifolds have no boss's for injectors.

Ive never seen an lsj with an lnf intake manifold, lk9 and lnf look just alike with the placement of TB flipped. Im pretty sure no lsj has an lnf intake mani. FYI zzp uses LK9

I know the difference between the 2.they can be used. The injectrs are not in the intake manifold on any ecotec.(unless using an aftermarket setup)

All I know is I couldn't use stock one taken off whyyoumadson's LNF, or his old sheetmetal intake mani either. Both cars built by same shop, In shop at same time. I'm not exactly sure why (long time ago, I can check it out if you want) but it wouldn't work.

I don't see why not.Like I said, I've seen a couple LSJ's use them, and I have LSJ stuff all over my L61.Doesn't make sense why they wouldn't work.

Im not sure, I know the flange is the same for all ecotec, was told because of direct injection. What lsj's are using it? Ive only seen lsj's use hahn, TTR, GMR, or lk9. And almost all l61 use the 2.4 except for a handful.

from what I understand the LNF manifold will not let you mount your injectors correctly without a good amoutn of massaging.. I think it's been done but still

I picked up one of the updated timing chain tensioners to get rid of the annoying tick tick tick sound lol. Do i really just swap them out and start the car to set the new one? i know the old style one you had to hit it to make it set...

Damn that's all I have to do to get rid of that ticking noise while the motor's running? Damn. How hard is it to install?

On another note I figured it would be easier to use the LNF intake mani because I can just buy parts for the LNF then. Make it a lot easier. So I assume It looks like you may have to grind a little bit of the intake mani to get to the injector holes.
