Exactly. Now will an intercooler fit behind the factory bumper easily?

Personally my werks intercooler wouldn't fit behind my stock bumper. Fits perfect under ss bumper, about 1 inch above bottom lip. I know you can fit one of the smaller ones under base model bumper.

Ok. I assumed a small one would. Because if I turbo I want to keep the stock bumper to go for the sleeper look.

SOOOOOOO..... My motor didnt like 300whp on the stock bottom end. Made a nice window in the block, Luckly the rod missed the intake manifold so that didnt get trashed.

On a good note, I got to try out my TBSS, pulled the cobalt like a champ. Im at least pleased with that.

with the corn it was ok for a good 4/5 months and a few track passes. Yeah if the crank is still good i will build it, i found a bare short block for $150 then just rods, pistons, studs and a gasket and im set. I have enough spare engine parts to build almost two engines lol.

On a side note, I did what i set out to do, see how far you can push the block with e85 and pulled trap speeds good for low 12's so id say im impressed with the engine.

haha nice. i had to pull my built motor. pulled it and tranny together (after pulling it over 10 times its easier that way) it took me prop 1.5-2hrs to disconnect everything and pull the motor/trans out just last month. stock motor for winter, built motor going back in with ITB, maybe bigger cams and WI this spring... looking for near 300whp

sorry to hear for ur loss, but that only a few hundred $ fix lol get her back on the road soon

anyone have any tricks for getting off a rounded off exhaust manifold nut? i tried to just take the whole stud off with an e7 torx bit but the tip broke off with very little effort. epic fail
