it's got a 12 months 12,000 mile warranty...
Still gotta pay for labor to have it taken out and put back in and all the fluids again... ****

I don't think I've even put 1000 miles on it yet...

It was only on 16 PSI at WOT. It pulled harder than all hell for the first few runs. Then it would just start pegging the rev limiter and wouldn't shift. Then regular driving became an issue where its having a hard time shifting and slipping when barely accelerating at all.

Can't be over 350WHP/WTQ.. and they said it would be good for at least 500 too.. BLEH!
Might be time to part out and start with a new platform.

Yes zzp does but they outsource. And there site isn't very descriptive about it until you get to everything about what voids your 90 day warranty. .. you have to pay an extra $300 to get a 12 month warranty and looks like they would claim it on anything...

honestly I'd say it might be better for you to do a manual swap lol those things are a dime a dozen and they can take a pretty good beating. I'm suprized mine is still even remotely alive at this point with how I drive and the fact that it had 350+ wtrq pushed through it regularly for 15k

why would you do F35? I meant F23 you can get them for 400 bux, all the parts will cost under 1k including brand new clutch and flywheel. the f23 would bolt right up to your engine

To swap from auto to manual, your gonna need to swap your entire cars harness.I mean from headlights to tail lights.if your going that far might as well get power windows and door locks while your entire interior is out.Motor mounts axles flywheel shifter assembly clutch pedal assembly.Tons and tons of work. You'd be better off buying a 5 speed car, swap your motor/turbo kit to that car,get it tuned and swap all your other random parts then sell off the auto car.

TO those who have automatics:

Talked to IPT today after the. 'Builder' was a ass hat to me and said that my car has to throw a code in order for it to not shift or slip... there's no code. It is what it is. He said that it was an impossibility and that I don't know what I'm doing.... like really?! What a ******* ass hole. He also said he wouldn't be covering fluids or the removal and install or any of the shipping. . He said no one has ever broke one before so I must be well over 500 wtq. Okay fucktard! Needless to say I'm out a thousand dollars at least and wont be doing business with IPT again after this. Done with the cobalt. Finding something else

Watch out for IPT

seriously look into one man! go on s2ki classifieds there are usually a few good deals. I got mine for damn cheap and just in mods had over what i paid for the car!

plus the motor is stout as hell and people run 450-600whp through them for years withlut issues. Big issues are the diff and nls'ing into 2nd gear. my car came with an upraded diff and axles so that helped a lot. If u wanna look id suggest finding one with an inline pro, ford 8.8, or puddymod rear diff in it.

seriously though it is the most fun car ive ever been in and ive been in a gtr, zr1, 1300hp camaro, supercharged miata, porsche 911 and cayenne turbo s, all kinds of **** and my car is much more fun and is a drivers car for sure(i have no abs or traction control or all that fun stuff)

Quick Reply: wanna build my 2.2 up for more boost!
