That's not that far off.

Normally, a drop in vacuum is a piston sealing issue or a IAC/TB problem. After working with a ZZP 2.4L turbo kit, I found the car wasn't too crazy about the blow-through MAF and it gave me weird idle vac until the car settled down sometimes, TB just kept moving around.

If you're worried, do a compression test. Otherwise, don't worry about it

Compression is perfect but at idle it stalls and would be impossible to drive...also mu bov bleeds off at like 2k rpm

either a leak in a vac hose, or you are leaking compression off the rings / valve seals.
But 17 is not bad for vacuum.

My bov will not open normally could this be due to a faulty bov? If I hold a vac booster to it and pump it to like 20 the bov will open? Any ideas

dont know if it helps bc im sc'd and ur tc's...but my idle is -20@idle, and -17/16 @idle with the a/c on...turn the ac off and it will go to -20...during decelarration while in gear i will be -24...just a boost leak down test to see if your leaking anywhere, be sure to put the engine in TDC so all valves are closed...

could try a different spring first. you can use tial parts in that zzp knock off. you can use a -9psi spring if it idles at 17inHg of vacuum

OK man thanks a lot also any ideas on why my car is so rich at idle...would not have a return fuel setup cause this issue because after 2000 rpm the car runs flawless also when I Rev the car when it comes back down it dies

Well here is the thing...I have zzp boost reference fuel system an I have it hooked up but I looked at my regulator in my tank and I cant take the ball an spring out like zzp say cause my regulator is a sealed unit...so its not really doing anything is IT? and could this be causing the issue with rough idle and way too much fuel at idle
