weaon-r intake system

I have also posted this over at chevycobaltforums.com as well just thought some may be interested in the pics

so this is where I connected my support bracket, Im thinking of getting a different screw and bolt, and maybe removing the rubber washer to try and get the bracket more secure cuz right now it moves more than I would like

the only complaint/problem I have is that they didnt supply new hose clamps, so i had to re-use the stock oem ones which are WAY too loose, they dont give any decent clamping pressure at all soo Im gonna go get some new ones today.

and this is the only part of the intake that is touching the hood, and of the part that is touching its the rubber connector and the metal connecting brackets.

Ill try to get a sound clip up asap

I have the same problem with the intake hitting the underneath of the hood. I've had my intake for like half a year and it's still just an indent, no hole yet. How much did that intake cost?

with shipping, it came out to around $260. And its not a dent in the hood, its the hood liner.

its not a dent in the hood. it just puts an impression on the inside of the hood where the black peice is.

I had that same problem with my saturn... I just had to rotate the piping a little bit to make the filter go down some... but it hit the fabric lining the underside of the hood....

when we put this on slvrbalts car we didnt see where to use that bracket that came with it since the instructions were very vague. this will help us fit that bracket on so it doesnt move around, although my injen didnt come with any brackets and it seems to be doing fine
