I did search and came up with nothing.... But, what is the stock weight of a coupe? Thanks in advance.

depends on options. 2800lbs for a NA coupe would probably be the lightest. Unless it was a stripper car.

with me inside my 06 cobalt ss/sc on a scale weighed in at 3030 pounds. I'm a small guy and weigh about 130 pounds.

They are way under 2900lbs.

dry or wet? You gotta figure how much gas is in it, oil, coolant, power options, sunroof, etc.

okay, I weighed my 2.4L SS (5 speed 2dr--they come with all the power stuff) It had gas, oil and coolant! Plus windshield washer fluid.

2840.

Just got the GM Canada website. They have weights for all the models

Edmunds lists the curb weight for the 2006 Cobalts as:

Coupe: 2991 lbs
Sedan: 3216 lbs

GVWR for the coupe is 3874 lbs (rated capacity with people, luggage, etc.)

My temp plate for my loaded sedan was 2907 lbs. so any coupe will be at least somewhat lighter.

look on the side of the drivers door, there is a sticker that tells you the exact weight of your car

no the sticker tells you how much your car can carry as a load. If our cars really weighed that much we'd be running with pocket rockets.

there is a sticker on the drivers door with this info. its curb weight is 2911 (ss s/c)

Why say 3000lbs? Its just not true. 2800 and change for your car. Sort of like saying X car runs 15.0---when it really runs 15.3

Every hundred pounds makes a noticeable difference. Be exact man!!
