What about this muffler?

What do you think about a custom 2.5" cat-back with this muffler?

How does throwing in a loop increase flow? I thought straight through was the best...?

DC uses a muffler like this on some cat-backs. They say it's not as loud (as a fart can I assume) but still free flowing.

It was either DC sports or Apexi that had that. They dropped it cause it didnt do anything.

Save your ebay money. Get something that had some R&D and not just copied from a picture.

Found it, this is what they tried to copy.

Just putting a muffler on the 1.25 in pipe does nothing for performance accept add you to the Rice perade.

The pacesetter is pretty good accually its a lil raspy, definatly louder than my GM performance, but side by side and to save that kinda cash, its not bad.

However being from ohio, the GM is going to last way longer being true stainless, and it fits together a better.

Pacesetter is Aluminized steel painted black. What your "custom" cat-back would be made out of. T304 stainless is WAY expensive and hard to find.

There's a local shop that I've heard does stainless for a resonable price.

For GMPP price I think I like this better

I keep hearing about Spintech mufflers and how they make the 4 bangers sound beefy, and have equal flow to a Magnaflow.

The two 4 bangers on Youtube with Spintech mufflers is a Mustang II and a Frontier pickup.
They both sounded good for a four banger.

They are not nice looking mufflers though, I guess hide it and use a nice tip.

This POS device is about as bad as the plastic whistles.
They even have a dual speaker rig for sale on E-Gay to make BOV noises at certain engine vaccuum levels, sad.

a lot of honda people use it to keep it quiet. thats mainly what it is for. it throws the exhaust through the muffler two times so its like having two mufflers. just makes it quieter.

How long did you have PaceSetter on the car? I'll probably go custom to save some money.
