The engagment when you first start will be a bit different, but that is the only time. You will get use to it. No different than driving a manual honda and then going to a manual cobalt... Just a little different feel.

ok so I am more than likely going to stick with my stock flywheel. where do i get a throw out bearing and what kind?

No one makes a "high performance one" all the aftermarket clutch kits work with the "OEM/Stock" one.

GM dealers are the only place to get one...

That is correct. They are about $70 for the "slave/TOB" which is all one unit...

I've got the SPEC Stage 2+ with lightweight aluminum flywheel. Also, if you're going to change the clutch, it's best to change everything. And remember to break it in!! lol

I am still trying to find out how income is looking but I know I want to put the clutch in b4 I turbo. I have everything to boost just need a clutch so I dont have to worry about that later.

yeah that sucks, thats why im going to run my sc on 3-4psi until i swap the clutch, than run it at whatever boost the 3" pulley should be putting out once the clutch and flywheel is in

Thats because you have to go elsewhere to find it. I can actually get it since the company I work for is an exedy dealer. I believe I got it for $430 shipped last year.

you will be fine on a stock pulley man ive got 223whp and 246tq on spray with a stock clutch it will hold for a little while atleast

I think the best place to get it would be ttr. I am going to get the stock flywheel resurficed while i do the clutch install.

what about exedy?

stock will hold up, how much idk, my buddies sc 2.2 is using a new stock one and its holding up, im going to change the flywheel and the clutch when i do mine, might as well since the tranny will be out to have it down at the same time to save on labor
