so this winter and early spring i'm goin to do so major mods to my 2.2L(current mods in sig). i'm goin to be putting a 2.5" dp w/ magnaflow highflow cat, a megan racing drift-spec 2.5" catback, trifecta tune(found a guy is lexington), Eagle rods, better piston rings and a NOS Sniper kit running a 125shot. i'm an auto and i know the trans can hold those mods since they're rated to hold up to 360bhp and the jet maf increases the amount of airflow by trickin the ecu and the performance module changes the a/f ratio base on how ur drivin plus it replaces havin to hav a bunch of gauges since itits can display data similar to an aeroforce interceptor

get a real tune, **** JET products - I would rather the MAF read REAL numbers and provide me with power based on those numbers, then tricking the engine into dumping more fuel...

where to tune then? the places in ky=blown motor, and there's no one that does a trifecta tune that is close and i'm not goin to pay $450 for them to send me the handheld then hav to wait 2weeks before they put $200 back when i send it bac

my buddy says there's a new guy that tunes Ecotec motors in Lexington so i'm goin to look into that but i dont hav to get a tune even til March since i have to finish my exhaust first, and i know it wont get 12s but i know it can get hit 13s w/ a 125 shot, my buddy was a mechanic for gm and has the fastest grand prix gtp in the country and said 13s in an auto with those mods and a tune instead of the jet stuff possible

dp wont do much of anything, catback wont do much more, jet MAF wont do anything, et module wont do anything, rods are good. So, you've got 1 good power adder, and a couple supporting mods.
I say a low 14.
FYI, the 75 shot guys are usually manual, and usually run high 14's.
lack of pistons means you're honestly probably gonna fry a piston ring when you use the juice fyi. Have fun with the rebuild!

who? many have run mid 14's, and are too embarrassed to even put their slips! Trust me, i've been around a while and have seen it many times. People get the idea to get nitrous, think theyh're going to hit 12's, and then get a mid 14. ESPECIALLY with an auto. I'm just being realistic, don't get your hopes up.
What do YOU think it will run?

Im honestly running the stage II and while it may not be the best there is definitely a difference. Mid range is a good deal stronger. It also feels like it pulls in 3rd harder and from what I can tell in racing a few people 3rd gear is stronger. And im an auto. I still think a good custom tune is the best but honestly im fairly happy with the Jet module so far. Oh and as for it just bein the placebo effect my family has another 08 Cobalt sport auto i drive from time to time and trust me that car just feels flat and doesnt feel like it has the same pull to it.
