what exactly....

are cams for....or better yet what do they do? im not an auto mechanic....so dont judge me.

they change how long the valves are open, when during the cycle the valves are open, and the amount they open up...basically when and how much air is allowed into the cyl as well as when in relationship to the cycle of the piston and the other valves (creating some overlap so that you get a "vacuum" effect)
...at least thats a rough estimation...go to howstuffworks.com and im sure they have something on them

also...they make power

i dont mean to sound like a dick when i say this and i mean nothing by it...why does your's sound almost like its stalling? im assuming it has something to do with the cams?

its a loap (sp?) hahaha
its a little rough in those vids, cause the afr was off and almost was stalling, but with cams it has a loap (like old v8s do lol)

well in actuality that is what it sounds like. that **** wont pass smog in cali though huh? or do you not know?

well thats one less thing to worry about. now all i have to worry about is the noise output it has. i tell ya man in california...once your done worrying about one thing...there's always another. i hate this damn state.

its all the exhaust, i run a catless dp and a 3" exhaust with an 18" resonator and straight through style muffler...basically im running straight pipes
