I tore apart everything from my supercharger kit with an 8,10,12,13,14,15mm sockets and wrenches along with a flathead and Phillips screwdriver in 3 hours... No jack or stands. You should be able to take it off pretty quick

I just texted you brandon, but yeah guys I'll go check the car out. The if you can't connect to the bcm HPT won't be able to connect either so that's the wiring issue that needs to get solved first.

guy who had my car said i needed to get all the accessories that are tapped in to the bcm out of there and relocate them. i have my wideband and radar hardwired there
noor you should talk to the guy who was working on my car and he can tell you the whole rundown on everything because i have a hard time explaining everything.

When you burnt the wires to the trany you may have also melted others wires that are in the same harness causing an intermittent short. You have also hard wired other accessories into the bcm. These could have shorts, open circuits or just simply drawing to much power from a circuit.
If I remember correctly on these cars the circuit for the cigarette lighter is the same one that runs the Obd port. Those are the only things i can think that link you two problems. While two things can fail at the same time I would start with whatever you have added onto that circuit. You may have a short somewhere in there that is going open loop and disconnecting the power from the Obd and/or feeding power back into the bcm. I wouldn't worry about getting retuned until you fix these problems. A short can burn up in multiple spots on a harness and easily compromise the jacket of any wire that runs in the same harness.

the spot where the wires melted on the transmission have been repaired. it was only a small section 2 wires brown and yellowz and the guy soldered in new wires and removed the old ones.
im going to get the wires out of the bcm/fuse box because its my radar and my wideband gauge.
still hope its tune related because i miss my car

so there are 2 things i have questions about that strike my concern. the guy who looked at my car who replaced the tcm told me i have to get all the electrical **** out of the bcm (fuse box) in the fusebox i have my wideband gauge and my radar wires with fusetaps in fuse slots so they turn on and off with the car.
is this safe? or is it not safe?
also i had my custom led tails a member here made for me. they were wired by taping into the tail light harness for them to function. the guy removed all the wiring and has it set back to how the car comes stock because he had a problem with the brake switch circuit (happened bc the bcm was fucked up and not because of the tail lights) i ran my custom tail lights for about a year wayyyy before any of this problem happened.
is having my tails hooked up by tapping into the turn/brake and running and ground wires safe?
because im wondering if i should re hook this stuff up when i get my car back
any input can help
