No, both are used take-offs from upgraded cars. Less than 20K miles on them.

$60 for the manifold shipped, $110 shipped if you want me to port it first.

$90 shipped for the D/P.

That means he'll smooth out the inside for better airflow.

BTW, what year Cobalt do you have? If you have an '07, you have the same exhaust manifold as the SS/SC.

hmm for a 2007 2.2 i think you may neeed to disable ur SAI first, not sure if 07s have them but here

Here is a comparison between the '05-'06 exhaust manifold style and the SS/SC manifold. The '07 2.2 cobalt has the SS/SC manifold.

I smooth out the ports as much as possible, open up the collector around the O2 where there is room, remove some excess casting flaws and enlarge the exit flange to help match up to the size of the DP better. The manifold bolt pattern is the same, it will fit for sure.

Calm down there tiger. The SS/SC downpipe doesn't fit properly. It rubs on the sway bar. I know, I tried it. Some people say you can take a hammer to it, or dent the flexpipe so that it fits, but I would rather have something fit properly.

You would be much better off getting an aftermarket DP w/ highflow cat. But even then, you are going to have to clear you CEL's every week or two.

On the LS, the SS DP does not fit due to clearance issues on the front swaybar. I had it on for less than a week, wedged in there, rubbing and scraping. I couldn't take the "BANG" noise everytime I went over a speedbump or pothole, or made a hard turn, or anything requiring the suspension to be moved from neutral. You would need to swap out swaybars with a SS as well as the DP.

Not to mention, it still had a CEL come on.

Not worth it IMO. Just get an aftermarket one, and you will gain more power, and deal with less problems.

The one I got from XTC is reeeeeeallly sweet. 2.5" w/ cat (you can opt for a cat delete since it still causes a CEL). It sounds friggin bad ass.

I also have the GMPP honed manifold, GMPP performance exhaust, and GMPP intake, in case you were wondering.

Well you are a lucky son of a bitch aren't you.

Actually, I think it might have something to do with the GMPP exhaust. When I first bolted on the DP to the Mani, it hung in the right place, but once I bolted it to the catback, it pulled the DP down about 1 inch.

On the CEL's, well I honestly don't know about that. I have heard other people get CEL's, but I do have more mods than you, so it might be that my overall flowrate is higher through there.

Just so you know, I was joking. Sorry I didn't put an emoticon to show that I was joking.

I'm just kinda frustrated when I saw everyone saying "Oh it fits no problem", and "No CEL's". And then I have both problems. But that's my luck for ya.
