Really didnt know where to put a thread like this. So who thinks they have the lightest cobalt out there and what do you think is the most weight reduction in lbs, that can be lost without removing anything serious

I am tempted by the Trak-Lite rims for weight reduction.
They are like 10lbs a rim for the 15s.
Stock is over 20lbs per steely.
That alone is 40lbs saved in unsprung weight which I hear helps even more than sprung weight.
I might get a carbon fiber hood and trunk.
The hood will be the ram air style that helps the GMPP intake do its job.
I might swap the antennae with the short stubby one, no real loss in weight there, but every ounce counts.
That should be over 60lbs in weight shaved.
Get the lighter alternator pulley and possibly light weight underdrive pulley.
I personally don't like lighter underdrive pulleys because they are supposed to have enough weight to absorb vibration to keep the crank from dying out early.
I probably should clean out my car, I have like 6lbs in garbage like junk mail and empty bottles, lol.
I just lost 10lbs recently, that helped.
Add helium instead of air in the tires. (saw a video on this, not sure how safe it is)
You can also try to get that guy off of Buck Rogers change the molecular structure of your car, just kidding.

Why would you put a gas that's way lighter than air in your ******* tires? You deserve whatever is coming to you if you put Helium in your tires and try to go out for a drive.
Nitrogen is better than air cause it's very consistent. There would be no water vapor in the tires so the pressure stays the same for a longer period of time. You probably won't notice any major differences driving under everyday conditions.
