I'd love to see the LSJ head used on the L61 with the supercharger, but its your build man, good luck with whatever route you choose and keep us updated.

heres every thing needed...

[IMG][/IMG]

btw you only exstended the map sensor wires right ??
so that means your still running the stock injectors right...

btw to make it eazyer get a 2 bar map when you tune it and rescale it.. well that depends on how much boost you decide to run...

how much boost do you plan on running.. i was at 15psi and with full porting on the SCer with the intercooler mod done..

and i was running gm stage 2 pully and injectors...

that good to know yellowshowbalt my aem has a map sensor built into it and i wll be running that one. The only question i have for you is for the supercharger intake manifold what bolts did you use for the two long ones that are studs because the stock 2.0 ones were to big different mm size

i went to lowes hardware store and got 4 bolts that were grade 8 for 3.00 give or take.. becouse the orignal one were 15.00 a piece from gm.. i used grade 8 bolts for the sc to intake but much shorter.. and those are 10.00 each from gm thats 40.00 dollars for 4 bolts. thats to much money for just bolts..

when i got the SCer it dident have any bolts at all so i had to get mine...

thats sweet. i hope i can come upstate n see u. im in buffalo. it should only b like a 4 hr drive tops. lol. well, when i TC my car we should set something up. Also, showbalt...did u ever get urs to a dyno? I would like to see some numbers if u have them. because i cud pick up an eaton m62? i think thats what it is. n i could an lsj manifold cheap with injectors, belt, intercooler, and piping for very cheap. i wud need a fuel management, and i wud wanna rebuild my motor so i cud go stage 3 right after i rebuild, and break in the engine. I just wanna see if the numbers match the pricing. Because I could go SC, for cheap, or, TC in a yr or so and spend more money. I'm in a bind!

you need dampener pully, idler pully, alt bracket, lower intake bracket, belt, bolts and gaskets...

look at the picture above.

hey misfitcobalt you shaved the side of the head where the damener pully is closest to the head right??
becouse the back side of the pully will rub the head becouse theres play in the pully bearing.. and will break the pully

ps. you did cut the gasket too right "intake to head gasket" if not the pvc will puke oil out not a lot but will make the engine dirty..

you guys aren't using a seperate coolant tank for the intercooler? IIRC they go that route with the 2.4's...

anyway, good luck...for $120, I'd do it.

We still need a How-To made up for this for all of the 2.2 owners out there (MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!) that are doing this too!!!

BTW, I am getting everything needed for $1100 canadian including map sensor, pulley, supercharger, laminova, alt belt, ect ect....

Think thats a good price for the parts off a motor with 30,000 KMS?

Do you have a listing of those parts and if so do you have the part #'s also? If not just the listing would be cool

A detailed How To would be great for the L61 guys. With some lsj's going turbo finding a eaton m62 is pretty easy. I think every ecotec should be boosted!!

i lost my warranty at 8000 miles due to abuse is what they called it... i was geting ready to dyno it but had some problems yesterday... so i took the sc off my car...and took it back to stock...

hey misfitcobalt i asked you some very impotant questions.. could you please reply back.. if you dident do those steps you will cost your self alot of money...

btw i was running 9s-9.3s at the local 1/8th miles drag strip... at 75-79 mph... i have alot of spinning.. what happend to my car was the ignition module went out cousing constant misfires.. due to the bosch platinums +4 i had in there.. i had it on there for 8mos and 22000 miles later..

please dont take this as me being rude.. but theres alot to know about supercharging the 2.2...
ive been there and done that...

ps. i have 1500.00 in the hole setup including stage 2 pully and injector, and letinfienger air to water intercooler with the smt-7 tunning software... and all the hard parts.. i bought all the main parts off a wrecked ss for 350.00 then you add the gm stage 2 thats another 500.00+the intercooler that was 110.00+ tunning software witch was anouther 450.00+ little odds and ends like new gaskets and bolts and intercooler hoses.finshed out the rest of the money..

i was at 15psi with intercooler hose mod with full porting and 4-1 exhaust manafold with custome 3in down pipe and 2 1/2 cat back system. and a home made cai..
i was killing stage 2 ss off the line and at a 40mph role.. the only time they would pass me was when i hit the top speed limeter at 105mph...

yellowshowbalt i did grind down the cylinder head to make clearence for the pully i was going to cut the gasket but when i marked it out the hole for the pcv vale in the cylinder hed didn't even line up close with the hole in the supercharger intake manifold if i have problems with it i will cut it out. why stop at 105 when you can go 120+ unless u don't know how to remove the gov.

one question though yellowshowbalt is you car still supercharged now or did you give up on it because i remember u said you weren't going to do it anymore
