For the AEM both of those connectors go to the back of the gauge. The one with the power gets hooked up according to the owner's manual or instructions. It tells you everything you need to know in the instructions.

You can also do things like re-wire the injector harness, mount the MAP on the intake manifold, get your o2 bung welded in your header/exhaust manifold. wire in gauges, paint any parts your going to paint, and mount 2nd reservoir if you have one.

Ok, tonights update, got the intake manifold gasket, modified it with a dremel (was alot easier to cut). Got the IM on, took off the idler pulley, installed the LSJ idler, installed 42# injectors. Rewired TPS and relocated MAF, as well as mounted intake. All in all, I felt like I got alot accomplished today.

My friend helped me modify the intake by cutting it with a dremel, (he broke two cut off wheels, dunno how...) so he broke out the sawsall, lol, cut it off no problems. But it left the sides real rough. So he torched it smooth, looks great now.

IM in took a bit, but got it in, took off the fuel rail, and bent the dipstick out of the way.

I have the stock belt, awaiting the stage 2 but it seems like the idler pulley and the bracket is to tight, is it supposed to be like that?

glad im not the only one that had oil in there..., thats a big relief.. ok, well i bolted the LSJ intake manifold on last night, the two holes i have no bolts in towards the center, what size bolts go there? I tried the m6x1.0 but they dont seem to thread in.. also I got two studs but they are m8x1.25s

those are the m8 studs, but arent the lsj m8s? so what do I put there, i hop I dont have to tap it...

and here is the 7/16th tap on top of the charger, w/ a set screw, looks good imo.

Thank you for the picture. Here are the instructions.

http://www.schnitzracing.com/manuals/AEMWBK.pdf

I don't like the screw in the hole, but the hex socket plug looks familiar

The bolts in the center. Here is what I used... you also MUST use a higher strengthed washer or it will crush and go into the hole.

LSJ Intake Manifold To Block
M6 x 1.0 X 75 (Qty 2)
M6 x 1.0 x 25 (Qty 5)

Just got done working on it for tonight, lots of blood sweat and tears, buts its going well, abit behind schedule, because I am awaiting a part that was supposed to be overnighted last friday and the member has not sent yet... So if I dont get that part im screwed.. other than that everything is going to plan. Are you worried your not going to see me? aww how sweet..

OK, tonights update, got a few things done.

test fitting heat exchanger

got the a-pillar in, needs wiring

2nd o2 bung welded in and installed

And finally a test fit, fits like a glove!

Tomorrow, will finish all the wiring, hopefully get the HE installed and plumed, then the small things like oil change, spark plugs, etc. Just awaiting the alt bracket and tune. Then i will be done! Cant wait almost there...

I wouldn't leave no center bolts out on the intake. Cannot start car and test it without them.

I pm'd him everyday, he finally got it out this morning, but I dont think he overnighted it like i asked him last friday so i dunno, not looking so bright, means I wont get to come see you rissa!! at least not this go, im just going on my normal days off work, so i guess all that means is I will just have to wait till some more days off.. although if it magically gets here on saturday, I will still leave monday..

you should probably flip that HE the other way around so that the hose fittings are facing the front of the car.

it will make more sense when you route your hoses

Tune came in yesterday, still waiting on the bracket, would be here on Monday, but I forgot its a holiday, meh.. so tuesday it is, will finish then. Everything else should all be ready, gotta go finish up the heat exchanger pluming, and gauge wiring.

Also, hunter, gene, I tried the m6x1.0x75mm bolts they didnt fit.. also went to a local copper state nut and bolt they say they do not make a m6x1.25 bolt, only fine thread m6's. So I will be tapping the holes to a m6x1.0 if I cannot find what bolts they are.. gotta find a thread pitch gauge now. I just rather not leave the bolt holes empty is all.

Those 2 bolt holes in the center of the I'M manifold are m6x1.0x75mm. Just throw in a washer with the bolts and you're good to go. Not sure what to tell you if they don't fit...they should definitely thread into the holes.
