Zex?
How reliable would this kit be?
http://compperformancegroupstores.co...uct_Code=82021
It's for the 2005 and up Cobalt 2.2L
Is this safe to the point where I could use it and not worry about blowing my **** up after many uses?

TRUE, i ran about 10 bottles through my car with a 75 shot and my car STILL runs fine, well not anymore after i boosted it
first off its not "NOS"
its Nitrous
right there, makes it seem like you didn't know what you were doing.
If you hook it up right, and run safety stuff you should be fine with a 50 shot.
run a window switch tho..dnt be dumb
and i can vouch for DynoTune Nitrous
it was a bitch to hook up but it was definatly worth it never failed

nos is short for nitrous oxide system i didnt feel like typing 50 damn letters when all i had to do is type nos. i will spell it out for you .
N (nitrous)
O (oxide)
S (system)
= NOS.
Now for what happend the nos puddled up in the intake and went boom.( that means the moter blew up).The car was tuned for nos. That happens.you r just lucky sofar.

i was running an 85 shot on my car (stock 2.2l) for almost 2 years...and i never had an issue. you obviously did something wrong whether you want to accept it or not...
anyone that has issue with n2o its either because of bad install/setup or misuse.
the 2.2l ecotec is rated by gm in their build book to handle a 75 wet shot of n20 easily...
to the OP i have been running that very kit in my car. just make sure you do your research on how it works that way you know what your doing. and make sure to follow ALL instructions and advice from those who have EXPERIENCE....

what system were you running. what type of controls (push button or WOT switch)? did you have a window switch? Was the system new?
and your wrong. you can install a system the wrong way. for example...placing the nozzle too close to the TB or MAF or even facing it backwards...or nto gapping your plugs accordingly. there are many things you can do wrong...

blazin speaks the truff but it is also not for the weak hearted people.
your solenoid could have gotten debris in it and stayed open. your WOT could have malfunctioned or failed and your car got a nice taste of nitrous & fuel when not at WOT. I've seen it many times with people who don't take precaution.
did you gap your plugs? you could have also detonated...
check your system periodically (every oil change), and have safety equipment (window switch, fire extinguisher, etc..)
