I love the garret kit. Puts you in your seat! That and it was cheaper too.

i woulda gone garret but they discontinued the kit a year ago or better. too bad too. i might get an fmic off one of my evo buddies down the line. i wanna see how the air to water holds up with mild boost.

you can run whatever you want for boost until **** breaks. the turbo supplied should be good for some serious boost not that i want to see that on my car.

Haha well I don't want to break anything! Ill have to work on internals after I get the turbo. But I think I should be able to safely run like 8psi on stock stuff

i don't see why not as long as you don't live in boost. i'll be doing the usual down the line just to keep my car together other then that i'm only looking for modest power, i already got a sick ass driver mod.

You will never run out of air with this turbo. Hell I wont, but on stock internals on 8psi it would run efficent and cooler as compaired to lets say the garret kit on 10psi.

Yes but stick with your stock head ive been having problems with my patriot stage II head with the fuel rail spacers not seating in the head correctly. been messing with o-rings and stuff to figure out how to seal it up.

anyone know for when you tap the oilpan...is the oil pan pressurized or how does the oil flow up to the turbo?

Test port on the back of the block for feed, and then the drain to the oil pan. Take the pan off the car and bring it somewhere and have someone TIG it in the oil pan in this location. I stole this pic from RLF.
