ZZP Turbo....Stage 2...2.2...

gotta love
won't have to pull my oil pan off til i'm ready to install the kit. got a brand new pan off a fellow member. i feel more comfortable having a clean pan welded.......just me though.
the new pan is the ss/sc pan which = 6qts to my current 5qts. can we say happy turbo? would an oil cooler be overkill?
the lsj oil pan for a turbo 2.2 would be a definite upgrade for any seriuos builders.

I know its not, its from a redline/2.0 but you get the idea. The turbo should add .5qrts about. just add 5 and start it up and see where its at then add more till its full.

Doesn't take long to install that stuff does it....wow, good job.
I remember seeing the instructions for the Garrett kit when it was available through them and thinking to myself that it wouldn't be hard to do most of it by myself (except for the fact that I haven't done any of it before).

will do. my dp was sized up for the corsa with a 2.5" outlet. the kits were shipping with 3" flanges. don't forget my wastegates external should make for a easier hookup..

Trust me it took almost 8 strait hours already. and its just "mocked up" But we took our time doing it. So its almost done. I already had all the pipes cut and basicly everything done we just re-did some pipes and made it all fit better. Fyi put the downpipe in before the turbo. Its not fun taking it out 3 times, it gets heavy.
I'm lazy though and would probably have Elite do it or something (assuming they don't charge too much for it).

I always had in my mind it would take me a whole weekend and then some, but if I have someone helping me that knows what they're doing it can be done in a day at most...that's what I meant.

i was bowled over the moment i opened the boxes. i'm good now but left with a couple of questions to be honest and a little disappointed, they forgot the wb bung.
now i have to get two things welded. there goes a little more of my money....lol

so there's the bent T for the evap line fitting. well there's a line off of that with a brass T fitting is this for your BOV and gauge or am i missing something. I understand i'm running the wastegate off of the intake and how that works but were am i drawing this line from?

I got a vulcan manifold so its a little different. Did you get a specific spring? or you going to use the boost controller? I left the boost controller off and just going to use the 1bar spring.
This line replaces the one on the intake, It connects near the map to the evap canistor.
Trust me you will notice it was worth the money when you start putting it on the car, it will fit like a glove. But give yourself atleast three days to do it, just dont rush man take your time.
