Let's say I want to get my tune now....could I use your cable and it would be a straight $250 and because I'd use the cable, I wouldn't need to pay shipping or any hold because he wouldn't be physically sending me anything correct? Or for the initial tune do I want the handheld tuner so I can datalog and send info back to him?

I need my exhaust installed so badly...wasting (not really) my money on all kinds of other stuff right now...Pedders, SS/TC struts and shocks, spacers, TTR engine and tranny mounts.

Lol I feel ya. My headers gonna be here tomorrow and dp sometime this week, even though I bought them at the same time o_O. Excited lol. And go install it! Not that difficult. The header you don't need a lift.

And I should prob just save my money right now huh? For the turbo, then get a tune lol.

I dont know about the price if you used my cable, you could ask vince. What we would do is I would use my laptop with his program/driver and do a few pulls, datalog that and it will create a file. You send him that datalog file via attachment e-mail form and he makes a correction and sends you another file. Then you reflash the car and do another datalog and send it to him and if any corrections are to be made he will send a final tune. It takes a whole day about. Its just patients and time for the most part.

Busy as in tax returns and everyone wants to get a tune? Haha. And should I just save my money? Save for the turbo, and just get a tune later?

Thanks for that info, didn't know it was just as easy to datalog via your laptop and do everything that way. I'll send him another email here soon to get some more technical answers about pricing and some other things....once I figure out what I'm doing with my header situation, I'll get it all installed. Didn't realize it was roughly a full days work...question about the datalogging (suppose I should be asking Vince this stuff too)...do you do all kinds of driving to give him a good idea of what needs to be tweaked? I mean highway and city, both WOT and normal conditions? Or do you just drive it normal and it will datalog all the info he needs?

Im almost done got the pan back on tonight, and do yourself a favor and REMOVE the gally plug FIRST after you remove your header. You will thank me later. Remove it with a 6mm allen socket.

i love you bro. and the install is a few days work. the heat exchanger bolts do not line up and the ic pump placement on the 2.2 is ..........................well you'll have to figure that one out on your own damn car.

gonna take that advice ion and take car of that plug first. i suppose one reason you had to put the turbo on and take it back off?

Nah its just that much easier. No mani or turbo in the way, just the dumb I think thats for power steering on the earilyer models, bar back there. You will see the bar im talking about behind the motor, its not fun to work around.
