yes please answer, im looking at buying a kit, the SC kit seems to be easier to install, although i know you had this argument before after reading this whole thread lol.. but the turbo kit puts out more power and seems to pull harder. so its THURSDAY! hows the car?

i had the same problem, i didnt know if i wanted the super or the turbo from ZZP, but after reading so many thread nd posting threads i found that it is definatley worth getting the turbo, the super seems easier, but the turbo kit comes with instructions too! the ONLY difficult part is that you got to put on a oil return line fitting on your oil pan but thats not hard at all! so deffinatley go with the turbo, thats what im gonna do

yes indeed it is thursday.

the turbo is in and i must say we had a bitch of a time. unbolted the swaybar and we were able to squeeze that big ****** in. not running yet; as the oil return fitting is wrong and will be here tomorrow. big fuckup on zzp's part. not to mention the last of my pipes and t-bolts get here tomorrow as well. a big **** you to frozen boost/silicon intakes and their bullshit, lying ass employees, never get my money or time again, douchebags. anyway, everything's just about ready to go.

i like that ^^^^^^

and hell's yes i'm motivated. how'd you mount your camara?

FYI my dipstick came out yesterday though, I might need more venting on my valve cover or some new rings, hope its just not getting enough vent I dont wanna do another motor build, this motor only has 1300 miles. But other than that its been alright I guess.

The camera is taped inside my headrest, the ion's have hollow ones.

Looked into my blowby problem and found this: http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.ph...60987&t=160987

i'll keep my eye on that. rains moving in and i may not get to work on her today

off topic....................i love the evo guys.........way cooler then the legion of lsj douchebags i know.

installed the oil feed line and the wastegate last night. the wastegate install with the open dump fit like a charm. had to do a little awkward routing to get the wideband cable free off the pipes.

and the rains here..................................

You might want to look into this too, our cars dont have enough pcv venting on the valve cover.

Looking into more about this part though:

even with the valve cover vent being routed too the compressor intake pipe pre-turbo? if this is the case i may need to figure out a solution real quick.

Looked into it more and you should add another vent to the valve cover/oil cap or make the existing one bigger (10AN).

http://tinyurl.com/ylzev99 <--- made a thread on a forum im on and figured it out.

Yes even with it running like that, because thats how I have it and it didnt work. The little tube we have on the valve cover isnt big enough to vent all the crank pressure because our motors are ment to be N/A not boosted. You can find info about the 10an in the build book too if you would like to verify this.

most likely i'll be getting a new oil cap and adding the fitting to that looks like the least painful mod. not feeling like ripping the valve cover off.

No, you shouldnt have problems like me, ive got over 300whp. But it wouldnt harm anything to do this on a boosted car, dont do this on a N/A car though.

it starts fires on all four and then it just dies. if you give it gas you get squat...well a misfire...other then that there's nothing. it starts smooth like normal then goes rough as it dies.
