Trying to gather information about the ZZP turbo kit. So who has one, which stage? and how long was the install? Also it would be much appreciated if you could provide any further information to help me and other members

well iam facing the reality of the only way for decent power is forced induction. I feel a turbo charger would easily bolt up cleaner then s/c it. Iam only looking to go 6-8 psi, nothing crazy or unrealistic. Now comes to the point where to find a decent kit that wont burn my savings account. If you have any suggestions it would be much appreciated. The ZZP one is like 2g, I would have to pay for installation and the tune. Hahn and Garret are up their in the threes. Then you have an ebay one for like 600 which looks like a toy. Iam gonna continue research in a used saab turbo see where it leads me...

yeah the only thing that sucks is the stage 1 isnt intercooled. Is it that hard to add one on. Reason for getting stage one is that my power goal is 250 considering my exhaust is 2.5 lol

well what im doing in going custom...i know people say if u go custom u get custom problems...but if u buy parts individually you save a few bucks...the ebay kit is yes a joke buttttt...the intercooler kit with piping aint bad...u just have to route the piping with ur imagination...the turbos yes r ****...but u get the cast iron turbo ecotec mani for a t3 turbo and buy the oil lines off vulcan.... all im saying if u wanna spend 3000 bucks then yea fine buy one of the kits but i would SUGGEST to buy parts and not the kit because if u do you might save a few bucks...i priced my kit out and im spending 1400 for everything!!! and im looking at 215 hpish

buy your parts seperate...from expierance u buy a 3,000 kit yes it bolts on no problem but...u buy ur own parts that u want like me i am spending 1400 and noooo its not the ebay **** turbo...look stuff up online like i did and u will be pleased

i would buy the intercooled version. Even if you dont want the power, cooler IAT2's will make the car more reliable and the engine last longer. This applies to all kits and all motors

smart man, really the only reason i'd go stage 2 and detune if needed(to retain rods lol).

no, but its probably cheaper to get the ZZP stg 2 kit than it is to do it yourself. They include, a HE, a intercooler, a water pump, and larger injectors to boot. that justifies $600 in my book
