A tune is better than that thing.

Could you do a tune and that? Would it do anything?

but how much did you firm up your shift points? gremlin85 is tuning my car and he said hes more comfortable if he just tweaks the trans a bit and I stick with my shift +

See that's what I'm thinking, just tweak the transmission a little and have the flexibility to change it with the shift +

Well if he's not comfortable then I guess he doesn't know. Full trans tune is better

anyone done this on a 07 auto?

i pulled my car against a 05 and 06 LS and their transmission wiring was the same as in the How-To even though its a 2.4ss.

My transmission wiring is different, im going to have to get pics to explain but my harness just runs a different route, and its very difficult to find the correct section with the color coded wires.

We check EVERY wiring harness that connects with the transmission actually took a an hr or so, picking apart the wiring covers and looking for those two colored wires.

only place we couldnt check was the wiring coming right from the trans harness plug thingy under the fuse box. I wouldve had to take the fuse box and a few others things out to reach it.

So why does my car not have the wiring running the same as these 05-06 cars??

So I'm going to install my Shiftplus any day now...

Here's a pic I took from the How to guide...

The brown drawing is a tube of wires that's on my car (07 LT) that runs under the giant tube outlined in red, and it connects into the tube outlined in green. Where this guy has those splices, that tube of wires is not there.

I think this is what breds was talking about he couldn't find.

I just want to make sure that's the same wiring. And I also don't have any red wires in there, they're orange.
One is orange with a black stripe twisted around a blue wire and another is just an orange wire with black stripe by itself (I'd assume this one, as the guide tells me).

I don't want to mess it up, can anyone clarify?
