Do cobalts have a vtec kick like hondas?

Hey viking101 there is nothing wrong with asking a question that you don't know. People around here forget that not everyone has infinite knowledge about cars like they do. So on that note don't worry about it, and i could see how you would think that and get them mixed up.

First off a thread like this once started should never be posted in. No there is no VTEC in the EcoTec engine and thats just a dumb question to ask. Learn what engines are and read about them before you posted pointless questions.

Mr. viking-101, what you've just typed is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I know that cobalts dont have vtec what i'm trying to say is that they both have vvt variable valve timing and wanted to know it it would do that kick in stage like a vtec.

Nah, they have torq. So I guess a torq kick? But it's actually there throughout the powerband, so I guess honda has that on us where they can go from a low hp up to a higher hp in one swift kick to the ass.
