not sure about that...might be some minor compatibility issues...but i wouldnt think it would be anything major...i do know hptuners is supposed to be making and update here before long so maybe that will clear up any issues....and also maybe it would pay to check efi live tuning...theyve done a recent release so they may be good on the 07's

The LE5 engine tune is fine. I have noticed that between the 06 and 07's though on the automatic transmission there are some differences.
By the way: If anyone has a working 07 tranny tune could they shoot me the tune file

well if you get a chance can you shoot me an email with his tune. the 07 that I have been working on seems like no matter what changes that I make it still will not shift at WOT he has to lift of the throttle about 10% then it will work. I have tried a few things and its beyond me right now

I did two runs yesterday with a setup and it did shift at WOT. I am going to run this tune for a few miles and illmatic3s and I will check the log. If that setup does indeed allow to WOT shift then we are in business.
But this has been our problem too red. Under WOT I've been have to lift 5% then back to WOT with the tunes we have been trying.
Our weather here in pa has been very troublesome. I am not able to get a clear dry stretch of road at all. It's either pouring down rain, icing, or snow covered.

ok good I am glad to here that I am not the only one that is getting the promblem. If you guys are able to get it to work and have a few miles under the tunes belt I would greatly appreciate it.

Tune Time will dyno tune my car with that same $500......for $400. I'm not gonna say your tunes are any better or worse, but they are professionals at what they do, so if nothing else, I have peace of mind when my car is in their hands. And free re-tunes for life.
I dunno, paying $100 less for the same service, plus dyno #'s just seems like the ideal thing to do in my situation.

Good Luck w/ your tuning. Illmatic3s and I will keep everyone posted with our new findings.

yeah we got his car dialed in real nice...i wrote up 3 tunes for him to test and log...we got a lot of knock on the first 2...wel using 89 gas is a no no i told him..lol once using 93 no knock..hahaha. red...i know wut his car is doing..its the fuel that is messing up the tune..i sent him a 2nd tune..that has my modified stock inj tune with all the rest of my tune..and it he told me that 2nd tune it shifts like a monster..ill check this thread later...to work i go

first thing you need to do is flash back to stock tune and see if it still does it to make certain its tune related.
then you need to take your current tune, remove all the rev limit, and transmission shift changes you did.
check again.
then slowly add back in your changes till you figure out which one caused the problem, and adress it.

Maybe coincidence, but there's only been two '07s noted with this shift problem.... and BOTH have the B&M kit installed. Just something to think about. Besides, unless someone knows exactly what the B&M is doing, they are just looking for trouble trying to tune the trans with HPT & the B&M. HPT can do so much more than the B&M anyway.

I'm removing the shiftkit this evening. Although with this tune, the b&m is to the OFF position. But that isn't to say its messing something up???? The 1 to 2 shift will shift as long as I lift just a hair before it redlines.... So to me its not much of a problem since I've been driving 5 speeds before this automatic and I can do two things at once haha.
