Tune Time will dyno tune my car with that same $500......for $400. I'm not gonna say your tunes are any better or worse, but they are professionals at what they do, so if nothing else, I have peace of mind when my car is in their hands. And free re-tunes for life.

I dunno, paying $100 less for the same service, plus dyno #'s just seems like the ideal thing to do in my situation.
I agree 110 % I am going to Tune Time on saturday. Can't wait.

What changes where made to the tranny, what RPM is it shifting at. If there was nothing changed that was fuel related there should be no reason the the IDC's would jump up that much.

Thats what I did yesterday... just about two hours of loading tunes. Trying and logging.

too bad we didnt live closer so he could ride in the car with me. Its hard to explain things since there are so many variables.

Logs dont show oncoming traffic, potholes in the road, antiskid on the sides from the salt trucks uphills and downhills.

Red maybe it has something to do with altitudes or something.

But I really needed to bump up the injectors. Even with illmatic3s tunes I'm still getting alittle high. 93-95ish.

We did a stock injector tune with your tutorial and it ran like a dog. the IAC were around 70% which is fantastic but it was no where near where we are at now. But then again I also think tuning can't really be done 100% effectively with logs and runs when its 5 degrees- 25 degrees out. One day my IAT would be 10d the next 45.

Really looking forward to spring to get some nice weather.

I already have the tune with the INJ.

I really need some dyno time now...and I want to tinker more...not too much...I want ot understand what is too much and what isn't

Eventually this car will have turbo on it...this just saves me the hassle of putting bigger ones in later...

with cobaltcrusin tune currently he is running the stockers are maxed out at 84% WOT...not bad guys for stock..i really would not rush into the inj. just yet...yes i have them..but my car with tune the stock inj would not budge the way i wanted it too so thats y i did it....steve u dont need them yet as i told u..gettin the tune down fully will help when u put those inj. in..i know uwant to put them in..but like i said..getting the tune down first will help when installin them...WORD..but yes weather doesnt help tuning cuz so many variables can get messed up..so runnin the tune then running it on the car for a week then loggin it..u can see where u are at..

why people do the lsj injectors is beyond me. you don't need them anyways.

This was a myth started by a wannabe "tooner" in AZ base upon high IDCs on a stock tune. He didn't understand what was causing the problem and concluded that larger injectors (of course, scaled wrong!) was the "solution".

I've got copies of his "toon" and had the opportunity to scan one, with Commanded AFR hitting 9.8.... BUT, the IDCs were down, so that MUST be the solution, huh??

Amateur (or immature!) tooners.....

REDFOCZ has got a handle on this, folks!

i find that funny. someone else and myself were having a conversation about that saturday.

YOU DO NOT NEED BIGGER INJECTORS PEOPLE. this is not an lsj. if you have half a brain you can get it to hold a smooth 12.9 from 2-7k, and the idc will be just happy where it is.
